	HUGGENBERGER AG is a small independent company specialized in development and production of physical measuring solutions. Instruments are produced on the basis of much know-how for the purpose of reliable measuring changes in length, inclination, force and pressure. The products and systems are primarily used to monitor large building constructions such as dams, tunnels or excavations. HUGGENBERGER AG is represented in more than 20 countries. Due to its good reputation, the extensive experience and the local presence through representatives the company succeeds in being active on all 5 continents. The company was founded in the year 1900 in Zurich by Mr. Huggenberger. In 1923 the company was commissioned for the first time to provide the instruments for the Schräh dam in Switzerland. In the meantime more than 300 different engineering structures have been equipped with safety instruments from HUGGENBERGER AG. In 1972 the private company HUGGENBERGER was converted into a joint stock company. Today the shares are held by the Management. The product range comprises mechanical and electronical measuring appliances which are used for the safety-relevant supervision and inspection of engineering structures. A target-oriented onward development of the own products and the acquisition of further state-of-the-art technologies permit to expand the programme of safety devices on a continuous basis and to meet latest requirements. The commitment to tradition and the application of most sophisticated technologies enable the company to present optimal solutions. HUGGENBERGER AG is able to offer everything from the individual sensor to the equipment for monitoring a working joint right to a network-based automatic measuring system. The performance spectrum starts with competent consultancy and extends via development and production right to installation and commissioning of the devices as well as training of the client's personnel in the operation of the instruments. One of our strengths is to integrate products from third suppliers into our own solutions.
