The Telepressmeter PWVW is an absolute pressure sensor to measure positive and negative, static and dynamic pressures of all kind of liquids. For example for pore pressure in earth dams, uplift measurements in dams, negative pressure in spillways and measurements for ground water levels. |

| |
The measuring system of the Telepressmeter PWVW is based on the vibrating wire principle. The wire is more or less tensioned by changing pressure at the membrane. The wire is electrically stimulated by the Indicator measuring instrument and the corresponding frequence is measured by the Indicator. |
