Als Bezugsachse kann das Lot dienen. Die in verschiedenen H\u00f6hen beobachteten Lotauslenkungen ergeben die Biegelinie.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Lot kann als Gewichtslot oder als Schwimmlot erstellt werden, wobei die Verankerung des Lotdrahtes (Fixpunkt) oben bzw. unten ist. Je nachdem ob sich der Fixpunkt am Bauwerk oder ausserhalb desselben (z.B. im Baugrund) befindet, wird damit entweder nur die Neigung des Bauwerkes oder aber zus\u00e4tzlich noch die Verschiebung, bezogen auf den externen Fixpunkt, bestimmt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kombination der beiden Lottypen ergibt die gr\u00f6sstm\u00f6gliche Information. Bei einer Staumauer kann z. B. mit einem an der Mauerkrone verankerten Gewichtslot Neigung und Biegeline zur Krone gemessen werden.
