Der Messwert wird direkt am Messkabel abgelesen. Fehlmessungen k\u00f6nnen keine entstehen, da der Kontakt nur durch Ber\u00fchren des Wassers hergestellt wird. Leichtes Anheben und Absenken des Kabels schaltet das Signal ein und aus, so kann die Wasseroberfl\u00e4che ertastet werden.
