The Challenge

Kariba Dam is located on the Zambezi River, at the boarder of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The dam has been built between 1956 and 1959 and it creates one of the largest artificial lakes in the world. It is in the scope of work also the automation of uplift pressure measurements in the dam galleries. In the project were used 12 VDD2V4 TELELOT, Sisgeo Up-lift Pressor (Piezometers and Manometers), 5000 mt. of cables for piezometer and 1200 mt. of digital cables for automatic system.
